Events for 2007-2008 at the Big Horn Galleries
Most events from November through May occur at the Tubac Gallery, with the exception of the Merry Little Christmas show which is held in both Cody and Tubac.
November 10-24 Linda St. Clair:
The Tubac Gallery offers new works by well-known artist Linda St. Clair. Linda’s impressionistic style and colorful interpretation of animals is a delight to all who experience her paintings. Join us Saturday, November 10 and Sunday November 11, from 12-5 p.m for the Tubac Art Experience, to meet Linda and enjoy her latest works.
November 30, 2007 Merry Little Christmas Show:
Big Horn Galleries offers the annual Merry Little Christmas Show in which artists provide smaller works at “Merry Little Prices”. The Cody Gallery opens the show on Friday night, November 30th and features a harpist at the opening. The Tubac Gallery opens the show December 8 and 9 in conjunction with the Tubac Luminaria Festival. Miniature and regular sized works are featured in this show, which runs from November 1, 2007 through the end of the year. Our collectible miniature catalog will be available upon request.
February 6-10 Tubac Festival of the Arts:
Please join us in Tubac for the annual Tubac Festival of the Arts. The entire town dedicates these days to the Arts through shows, booths, demonstrations, and showings of all forms of Art. The Big Horn Gallery will feature demonstrations and new artwork by Darcie Peet and Owen Rose through the entire Festival.
March 15-31 Deborah Copenhaver Fellows:
The Tubac Gallery will feature a one-artist show for Deborah Copenhaver Fellows, highly renowned sculptor of Western Art. Deborah’s sculpture features the cowgirl as a primary focus, depicted in a variety of situations and attitudes drawn from her life on the ranch.
June Summer Roundup Show:
The Cody gallery will again feature the annual “Summer Roundup” show featuring the work of over 60 artists. The show will be held in conjunction with the Old West Antiques Auction mid-June.
